There are many reason why you should tint your vehicle. I want to explain the reasons that affect your livelyhood, your health, and your security.
1. SKIN CANCER
Did you know that applying tint on your vehicle helps reduce the chances of getting skin cancer? Professionally made window films (such as Xpel, which is what we use at our shop) blocks 99% of the suns harmful UV rays. Ultra violent rays are the leading cause for skin cancer outside of obtaining it hereditarily. We offer multiple lines of Xpel films, and all of the film we offer block 99% UV rays.
2.SECURITY
Protecting your livelyhood by adding window film sounds almost silly doesn't it? Well allow me to explain what we're protecting. Most of us require our own transportation to and from work, and we spend more time inside our vehicles and away from our homes than actually being home. Even during the pandemic, statistics show people where home less than ever before. We just where not at work. Window tint is a 1.5 - 2 mill thickness film that is applied to over 98% of the entire glass being tinted. This puts a protective layer between the outside (and anyone outside trying to get inside to you) and will actually hold the glass together if broken. Keeping the unwanted intruder, out longer. Giving you more time to protect yourself, and your family. It has been shown it adds an extra 30-45 seconds before actually being able to fully penetrate the window and film. That is a long time when you're in an adrenaline filled situation.
3. PRIVACY
Applying tint to your entire vehicle makes is much harder for the outside world to see in, and see what you have inside your vehicle. If you're not in your vehicle, then there is a good chance someone has looked in while walking by. Maybe you left your laptop laying on the front seat, and if you have tint, theres a good chance it won't be noticed as easily. Adding that layer of protection is the difference in being broken into or not. Criminals are everywhere, and they need to know what they're going after before they go in. Well, if they can't see what they're going after, the chances that you are going to be a victim go down.
4. STYLE
Tint just looks awesome on your ride, right? Of course it does!!! But there is so much more to window tint than the look of it. If you're putting film on your car solely for the looks, then great, but we want to make sure you understand what you're getting for the money.
